Amazing snow conditions for our New Year ski trip to Big White. We were lucky to have great friends joining us from Germany, Ireland, Ontario, and Vancouver. Our interest in downhill skiing has been fully restored!
An amazingly warm and sunny weekend in October provided the perfect reason for a last trip to the coast mountains before the real snow arrives. We headed up to Elfin Lakes on the Saturday morning – lots of snow at the campground and we were not the only people with the idea of camping at Elfin. We were the only ones to hike up to the Gargoyles on Saturday morning – we were rewarded with great views of Diamond Head.
